We call that one "Long Distance" - glad to hear you stuck with it!

Nice work! You may well be the first one to complete all the puzzles :)

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! Glad to hear everything clicked for you :)

Thanks for playing- glad you had a good time with this!

Great work on this! I wish the sword and shield modes had more usefulness- unfortunately the gun is simply way more powerful; with only a couple of upgrades, you can pretty much just walk forward and not worry. Also, the bombs are very very powerful - I wonder if enemies killed by bombs should not be able to drop bombs as this made it a perfectly viable strategy to just bomb constantly and pick up new ones as enemies are killed by it.

Nevertheless, a fun sidescroller!

This is really creative - I lost at 10 on master mode; it gets really tough! The Castlevania mode was pretty tough with controller. I kept either going through a door when I didn't want to or the other way around.

Very well executed overall.

Thanks for playing, glad you appreciated our naming efforts :)

This is a fun game, and the presentation is really nice! I agree with other commenters that it is kind of like Mystery Dungeon which is great. I think a little more personality in the enemy behavior would make the combat more engaging, but I do really like the addition of the burst attack partway through.

Nice work!

This is absolutely fantastic, completely brilliant. It took me probably about 30-40 minutes to complete, and I loved it. I took forever to find the first key because I'm dumb, but otherwise I thought difficulty was really tough but fair.

Just awesome 10/10

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed the art :)

Awesome work either way - this is really a joy to play!

This is deceptively challenging! Like others, I did not realize there was double jump and died to lasers many times - I love the death screens, awesome work on that especially! This is nice, neat platformer with great art and sound.

This is a cute game and a really unique theme interpretation. The weapons all feel slightly different and the sound design is great! I would love an animation for when the player gets hit, as my hitbox was slightly hard to read. And I would love too if we had a score so there was really something to chase after for an arcade style!

nice work!

This game is exceptionally charming, and I really like the use of statistical mode to capture such a unique and creative theme. My only complaint is that it's hard to remember which moai I've taken pictures of- a map that filled in with the ones you've already captured would be amazing.

Still though, this is a really great job, and props to you for taking on such an ambitious project!

This is a very interesting concept. Love the idea of statistical mode - glad someone went for it. The game is pretty tough and could use more tutorialization, but nice work overall!

Really great work getting all this content into this neat little package. The duck may be the biggest cheater in the world, but I still really enjoyed beating him. I love how quickly the early levels go once you start to progress.

As a side note, I'm really impressed with all the fitting words you came up with for the ability levels; we used a similar naming for our abilities but we only had 4 and still had trouble!

Nice work :)

This is really cute, and I love the look of the toad :)

Mine ran a little laggy, but I see the vision you were going for and I like it.

It can definitely be pretty tough to understand what's happening at any given time, but the movement system is so interesting, it's fun just to see what happens. Feels like Sonic when you really start to pick up speed.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you found the difficulty just right - we did a lot of playtesting for this specifically!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much!

I believe in you!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the levels!

Thanks for playing!

Really great visual design. Gameplay is a bit repetitive as others have said but this is a fun game overall.

This is truly great, love the creative use of the theme. The background graphics are so wonderful!

This is a really excellent game. It reminds me of things like Octodad or Untitled Goose Game. A burned down house is a clean house!

Nice and wholesome ending, love the animation and art of the characters!

I would bet anything Dunkey beats this game on hard mode. For me, I'll go back to nice, easy, Hollow Knight path of pain.

This is a really creative interpretation of the theme. I love the light puzzle elements of the setting manipulation. It took me a while to realize how to console the granddaughter.

This is a really interesting idea! Some sound effects would be really satisfying I think, and would really help each mode feel unique.

This is exactly the kind of thing Dunkey is going to enjoy playing. You have the exact right balance of silliness to functionality. It would be great if it was clearer how to climb with the meatball, but overall this game is very fun and satisfying.

Very glad you enjoyed. Our difficulty bug will be fixed after the jam is over tomorrow so be sure to try again!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much for compliments! We're really happy with how the game turned out, and we have some nice patches incoming once the jam is over.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! We really enjoyed the way Ivory's character took shape- glad you like her!

Glad you stuck with it, thanks for the compliments!

Thank you for playing and we appreciate the comments. In our heads, the tutorial was a lot more helpful than it turned out to be, so we're hard at work on making something more interactive and clear

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! Our main idea right now for adding a bit of a grace period is just to guarantee the first few notes are correct, so it'll be a bit more forgiving. Still want to do some more in-depth difficulty balancing, but we think it'll really help at least at the very beginning. With the notes being randomly generated, there's always a chance that the level skews difficulty, so we really want to improve this part of it.

Thanks for playing!

You've done a great job with the physics here, which is obviously important in a game about gravity. I would really like to see this game updated with more gameplay and reasons to do one thing or another, as other commenters have said.

Nice work!
